Step 1: Signing Up for Google AdWords

After that, you will be taken to the Create Google Account page, where you are facilitated to choose a username and password that you would like to use with Google AdWords.

Step 2: Verification of Your Google Account
If you have decided to go with your existing Google account or Gmail Account to create an AdWords account, then you have to follow this step. On the other hand, if you have created a new Google Account for Google AdWords, then you will have to get your Google Account verified.

You will be able to sign in using your username and password, after verification of your Google Account with Google.

Step 3: Setting Up Your First Campaign
The system will prompt you to create your first campaign, once you are signed in to Google AdWords.

Here you are allowed to choose your campaign settings (the name for your new campaign, audience language, network settings, location, bidding, and budget options, etc.).

To create your campaign you will need to provide the following basic information and then click the Save and Continue button at the bottom of the page when you are done.

1.Budget: Here you have to enter the amount that you are willing to spend on an average for each day for this ad campaign. Your budget will assist you to determine how many times your ad can be shown every day.
2.Networks: You can choose where you want your ad to appear. You also have the option to select devices on which you want your ad to appear or you can go with the default settings.
3.Locations: Here you can select the locations where you want your ad to be placed or appear (location of potential customers).
4.Keywords: In the keywords section you have to enter search term keywords that will trigger your ad.
5.Text: In this section, you have to enter the text of your ad.
6.Bid: Specify the amount that you are willing to pay for your ad.
Step 4: Setting up of Billing Preferences and Time Zone Information

You have to select the country or territory where your billing address is located from the drop-down. The other fields will automatically be updated.
You have to select your Account type (Business or Individual). Continue with selecting the radio buttons and filling in the information in fields.
Enter your required billing information (i.e. credit card details) or make use of promotional code.
You can here set your time zone information. It is to be noted that your time zone and currency settings can’t be changed after you set up your account.
Then click the Save and Continue when you are finished with it.

There is a one-time account activation fee. Account activation fees and payment options may differ according to the currency you use and the location of your billing address.
